This FOS is a compact system developed to provide forward observers with battlefield surveillance, target acquisition, reports of the enemy and shooting observation for day and night operations.

The system’s multiple interfaces enable to integrate data from a wide range of sensors including CCD Day Sight and Cooled IR TI Night Sight, Long Distance LRF,  High Accuracy Goniometer, GPS and Digital Compass to provide fast and accurate target acquisition capability.

Powerful computing capabilities enable the TCD (or Rugged laptop) with Goniometer to calculate the target's position for storage in a target database and video/data output interface can export to radios and other fire control equipment.
